We are NLMK DanSteel
Since 1940, steel has been produced in Frederiksværk. Back then, profile steel, steel plates and steel slabs were made for many different applications. In 2002, NLMK DanSteel became a reality, and today we are proud of our position on the international market for steel plates, and our contribution to the transition to green energy, since the majority of our steel sheets are used in the wind energy sector.
European leader
NLMK DanSteel is a part of NLMK Europe, which has several different steel plants across Europe. As one of Europe's frontrunners in the steel industry, we are among the 25 largest producers of steel products in the world.
